Toys, Toys, Everywhere at the Tucson Collectible Toy Show and Sale!
My wife and I had a great time today attending (and shopping!) at the 29th Annual Tucson Collectible Toy Show and Sale today and picked up a few goodies – some Catwoman items and comics for her; and some Hot Wheels, Matchbox cars and Johnny Lightnings for myself!
This annual, one-day toy show and sale, is billed at the largest toy show in the Southwest, with 500 vendors tables covering a wide range of collectibles; from toy cars, comics, action figures, video games and more is sponsored by the Tucson Miniature Auto Club. And at $5/person for general admission, the cost to attend this toy show and sale is very reasonably priced for such a large event, and a great way to spend a day to boot! We easily walked the entire show in about 3 hours, with another hour spent going back for last minute items, so it’s not a killer multi-day, marathon event that takes up a whole weekend.
Overall it looked like a very active show, with quite a bit of activity on the floor, and vendors doing a brisk business and I picked up some new items to post and share later (see top photo below).
If you have not attended before, and you find yourself in the vicinity of next year’s 30th Anniversary Toy Show and Sale I highly recommend it!
